Who handles customs, duties & taxes?Updated 20 days ago

For international shipments, all customs, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are imposed by the destination country and can vary significantly depending on the type of product, its value, and the country's specific regulations. As the importer of record, the customer is responsible for understanding and paying these charges.

To determine the estimated costs for your shipment, please contact your local customs office or research the customs and import regulations for your country.

IMPORTANT:

Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be charged in the following circumstances:

  1. The customer refuses to pay the required duties (taxes), and the item is returned to us.

  2. The customer provides an incorrect shipping address, leading to the item being returned to us.

In both of these cases, the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

Additional Considerations:

  • Customs clearance procedures can sometimes cause delays in international shipments.

  • In some cases, customs officials may inspect or hold shipments for further processing, which could result in additional delays.
